Is Jeep Service Mussafah actually safe to book through? Noticed it's not https
My Patriot's been making a grinding noise from the rear and I was recommended a garage in Mussafah that supposedly has a booking site, so I fired up the laptop and landed on http://jeepservicemussafah.ae/ but then I noticed right away there's no padlock in the address bar, it's just plain http not https, and the whole thing made me pause because I'd be entering my number and email at the very least. The site looks decent enough with a service menu and a clickable calendar but I'm a bit old school and get twitchy about handing over info on an unencrypted page, even if it's just a booking form. Is this just a case of a small garage not bothering with an SSL certificate or is it some mirror site that isn't legit? I asked a pal and he said half the Mussafah shops barely update their Facebook pages so I shouldn't expect much, but still, I'd rather just call them directly than risk my details floating around. Anyone booked through that site and lived to tell the tale without getting spammed to death?
