Quick question about gearbox places in Sharjah Industrial Area
My brother just moved to Sharjah for a new job and his little hatchback started making this weird whining noise that changes pitch when he accelerates, pretty sure it's coming from the transmission area. He doesn't really know his way around the industrial area yet and I'm trying to help him out remotely. I was scanning Google Maps trying to find somewhere reliable that won't rip him off since he's new in town and noticed a few places around Al Saja'a that specialise in this stuff. There's one that keeps popping up in searches called Gearbox Repair Sharjah that seems to have decent reviews from people with similar issues. Has anyone here dealt with them personally or know if they're good with smaller Japanese cars? Just want to make sure he ends up somewhere honest where they actually diagnose the problem properly instead of just telling him he needs a whole new unit right away. He's a bit stressed about the whole thing so any pointers would help.
