Yukon Denali grinding noise when reversing - anyone else had this?
So our family Yukon Denali has developed this awful grinding noise but only when reversing and only first thing in the morning. Once the car's been driven for a few minutes it completely goes away. Took it to a random garage near work and they said it's just surface rust on the rotors and nothing to worry about, but honestly it sounds terrible and I'm not convinced. For a car this size with the family inside I need to know the brakes are 100% reliable. I've been looking for a shop that deals specifically with these heavy American SUVs because I think they might understand the weight and brake requirements better than a general garage. Came across a place advertising GMC SUV brake pad replacement Dubai while searching online and they seem to focus on the bigger trucks and SUVs specifically. Wondering if anyone's dealt with this same noise issue on their Denali or Tahoe and whether it really is just normal or if I should be replacing something. Don't want to ignore it and end up with a bigger problem down the road.
