AC only works when the car is moving, anyone know why?
This is such a weird one and it's driving me nuts trying to figure it out. So my car's AC blows ice cold when I'm driving on the highway or even just moving around town, but the second I stop at a traffic light or sit idling somewhere it gradually turns warm until I start moving again. I asked a friend who knows a bit about cars and he said maybe the cooling fan isn't working properly so air isn't flowing over the condenser when the car's stationary, which kind of makes sense. Another guy told me it could be the compressor clutch not engaging properly at idle. I don't really wanna just start replacing parts based on guesses though because that gets expensive fast. I was reading about this issue online and found a place called Car AC Repair Sharjah that seems to deal with exactly these kinds of intermittent problems. Has anyone taken a car there with similar symptoms, did they actually diagnose it properly or just throw parts at it until something worked?
